Andrew Douglas, a member of the varsity baseball team at Fresno Pacific University (FPU) and native of Kingsburg, California will be participating in the Athletes in Action (AIA) Great Lakes baseball tour this summer.
As a member of the AIA baseball team, Douglas will compete against various teams located in the Great Lakes region throughout the ten week tour while also growing in his faith.
"Besides playing lots of baseball I'm looking forward to the opportunity to be able to fellowship with new teammates and developing some friendships in the process as well as taking the next step in my spiritual walk with Christ."
Douglas, a junior infielder, helped lead FPU to a 39-21 overall season record and 24-12 for conference play. FPU ended their season in the final eight at the NAIA World Series with a 5-4 loss to Lee of Tennessee.
