Kelyn Schellenberg has been named an NAIA All-American. Schellenberg was one of seven pitchers listed on the Honorable Mention team, while a total of 15 pitchers were selected for all three All-American teams.
Schellenberg finished the season 8-3 with a 3.56 ERA. All three of his losses came against top-ten teams in the NAIA. In his nine starts, Schellenberg was 4-1 with one complete game against Azusa Pacific with a 1.90 ERA. Schellenberg had 44 strikeouts in 93.2 innings pitched.
Schellenberg is a senior from Reedley, CA, and graduated from Immanuel High School.
The 2009 NAIA Baseball All-Americans is selected by the NAIA-Baseball Coaches Association. There wre 17 members on the First Team, 17 on the Second Team and 34 Honorable Mention picks.
