EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. -- Fresno Pacific senior Kaili Zink placed third in the women's marathon at the NAIA Outdoor Track and Field National Championships Saturday afternoon.
The 5'1" Washington Union graduate ran the grueling race in 3:14:05.01 to place highest among all the Sunbirds athletes competing in this year's National Championships.
FPU junior Tiffany Marinos threw 43.79 meters to finish fifth nationally in the women's javelin throw.
Zink and Marinos both earned All-American honors for their efforts.
The women's track and field team scored eleven points overall to finish 21st.
