Three Sunbirds receive ACWPC All-Academic honors

The Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches and the NCAA recognized their men’s water polo All-Academics this week, and three Sunbirds found their way on the honorable list. Tim Kahn, Caleb Goings and Gabe Calderon were all recognized this year.
Kahn received an Outstanding ranking, the highest honor, while Goings received Superior and Calderon received Excellent.
The three players earned honors for maintaining a GPA over 3.2 while competing this fall. The NAIA does not have an award for the water polo players, so all the players were listed together with the NCAA schools.
