FRESNO, Calif. – Fresno Pacific cross country finished their final run of their 2009 season last weekend at Woodward Park for the GSAC Championships.
Cesar Rodriguez and
Jessica Suddaby led the Sunbirds all season and finished highest in the conference championship run.
Rodriguez came in seventh (26:03) overall while the next Sunbird was
Josh Hodges at 21st (26:41). Suddaby (20:24) and teammate
Megan Barnard (21:03) both finished in the top-50 in the women’s race.
The men’s team finished eighth in the GSAC while the women finished ninth. The remaining men finished:
Marvin Ortiz, 48th (28:25);
Carlos Huerta, 51st (28:56);
Alex Reyes, 58th (33:22); and
Anthony Puente, 59th (35:29). The women had a full team for the first team all season with more the four runners with the remaining women finishing: Jessica Alanis, 55th (21:33);
Brandy Hurd, 57th (22:01);
Amanda Straw, 58th (22:47); and
Carly Brownell, 59th (22:51).
