Men's results
FRESNO, Calif. – #20 Fresno Pacific competed at Woodward Park for the GSAC Championships, and the men finished 2nd behind #3 Azusa Pacific, while the women finished 8th.
Amanda Johnson finished in 21st (18:51) as the highest female finisher for the Sunbirds, followed by Kaili Zink at 25th (18:58).
The top three Sunbird men all finished together at 7th, 8th and 9th. Isai Orea# (25:46), Cesar Rodriguez# (25:47), Benny Madrigal# (25:53) all helped the Sunbirds get second in the conference behind a strong Azusa team, ranked #3 in the NAIA. The Sunbirds are currently #20 in the nation, and are fighting for a bid into the NAIA championships.
