FRESNO, Calif. – Fresno Pacific (32-0) completed their regular season perfect for the second straight year, and in the same fashion as last. The Sunbirds swept NCAA Div. I CSU Bakersfield (16-13) for the third time in the last three meetings, and second time in a row to finish the regular season. The Sunbirds took the match in straight sets, 25-13, 25-16 and 25-21.

RIVERSIDE, Calif. – The Sunbirds (29-0, 18-0 GSAC) came up big against No. 2 Cal Baptist (24-4, 14-4 GSAC) after falling behind 0-2. Fresno Pacific took the final three sets committing only 14 errors after committing 15 in the first two sets. With the Sunbirds’ 18th GSAC victory this season, Fresno Pacific clinched the GSAC title as well as most likely the No. 1 seed at the National Tournament.

FRESNO, Calif. – Fresno Pacific (28-0, 17-0) had a scare after the first set where Azusa Pacific (20-8, 11-5 GSAC) came out hitting red out. Despite Azusa’s nearly perfect play, the Sunbirds stuck around to pull out the second set to build their momentum for their 22-25, 28-26, 25-14, 25-23 victory.

FRESNO, Calif. – Fresno Pacific (27-0, 16-0 GSAC) begins their difficult stretch off matches with a decisive win over No. 4 Concordia (24-5, 11-5 GSAC). The Sunbirds were pushed in the final set trailing by their largest margin of the match 3-8, but fought back to tie the set at 8-8 with a 5-0 run. The Sunbirds ended up outscoring the Eagles 25-20, 25-20, 25-19 to take the sweep.

FULLERTON, Calif. – Fresno Pacific (26-0, 15-0 GSAC) won another GSAC match to move to 15-0 in the conference. Their most recent win came over Hope International (6-20, 2-13 GSAC). The Sunbirds were pushed in the second set, but took the match 25-14, 29-27 and 25-12.
