Sunbird updates Live Stats 2009 NAIA Men's Soccer National Championship

The Sunbird's season ends with tough 5-0 playoff loss to #7 Cal Baptist.

RIVERSIDE, CA. – The FPU women’s soccer team just could not withstand the pressure #7 ranked California Baptist applied in a first-round GSAC playoff game, losing to the Lancers 5-0 Tuesday afternoon in Riverside, CA. CBU notched two goals in the first half, three in the second, and completed a solid performance by shutting out the Sunbirds for the victory.

LA MIRADA, CA. – The Fresno Pacific women’s soccer team fell to Biola University 2-1 Tuesday afternoon in a Golden State Athletic Conference matchup. After conceding an early goal and coming back to tie it at 1-1 apiece, the Sunbirds allowed the game to slip away when Biola’s Samantha David scored the game winner in the 86th minute to give the Eagles the 2-1 win.
