RIVERSIDE, Calif. – Fresno Pacific water polo finished their season last weekend at the NAIA National Invitational against No. 11 Concordia and No. 17 Cal Baptist, and two Sunbirds were named to the All-Tournament Team after the one-day tournament concluded.  #Glen Lyon# and #Nick Fadden# were key players for the Sunbirds all year, and helped the Sunbirds content with the nationally ranked opponents.

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Fresno Pacific (13-9) had their most challenging weekend of the season as they traveled to Santa Clara for their final tournament of the regular season.  The Sunbirds began the weekend 0-3 falling to Brown, No. 13 Davis and No. 10 Concordia, but rallied back to defeat No. 19 St. Francis in the final quarter of the game.  The Sunbirds’ win was their first victory over a ranked opponent in program history.

MERCED, Calif. – Fresno Pacific (12-6) had a tough day with back-to-back games with West Valley and Merced, but came out on top with wins in both meetings.  The Sunbirds came back on West Valley in the third quarter to win 13-12 and then jumped back in the pool to win decisively over Merced, 13-5.
