COSTA MESA, Calif. – Men’s and women’s cross country competed this weekend at Vanguard for their fifth invitational of the season.  #Cesar Rodriguez# led the Sunbird men with his 14th place finish to help them finish 9th overall.

ARCATA, Calif. – Fresno Pacific men’s and women’s cross country teams are staying busy running every weekend in September.  Last weekend the men’s cross country team finished third at the Humboldt State Invitational.

FRESNO, Calif. -- The Fresno Pacific cross country team began its season across town at Fresno State's Watermelon Run.  The Sunbirds had two men and two women finish the two-mile run in the top 20 with #Jessica Suddaby# and #Josh Hodges# leading the way with tenth and eleventh place finishes, respectively.

Fresno Pacific women’s cross country finished a hard season while the men’s team finished strong with one of the best in Sunbirds history.  The men finished 23rd in their first appearance at the NAIA Cross Country National Championships.

Sunbirds head to NAIA Nationals for first time
#16 Fresno Pacific men’s cross country team had a lot of firsts this season.  This will be the first time in school history the men will be heading to nationals, and along the way Coach Eric Schwab received the GSAC Coach of the Year, also for the first time as the cross country coach.

FRESNO, Calif. – #20 Fresno Pacific competed at Woodward Park for the GSAC Championships, and the men finished 2nd behind #3 Azusa Pacific, while the women finished 8th.
