RIVERSIDE, Calif. - No. 11 Fresno Pacific (35-15) pushed No. 3 Cal Baptist (45-13) to an if-necessary game-two with a huge 10-3 win, but did not have enough to finish the Lancers off for the conference title. The Sunbirds lost in the final game 9-2.

Baseball advances to conference championship
RIVERSIDE, Calif. - Fresno Pacific (34-14) never counted itself out after losing to Point Loma Nazarene yesterday, and fought its way back to the GSAC championship game by defeating The Master’s College (26-25) 10-5 and then coming right back to defeat Point Loma (35-18-1) 11-10. The Sunbirds held off a late surge from Point Loma to advance to the championship game against California Baptist.

RIVERSIDE, Calif. - No. 14 Fresno Pacific (32-14) took its first loss in the double-elimination GSAC tournament to No. 18 Point Loma Nazarene (35-16-1). The Sunbirds allowed seven runs in the third inning, and never could rebound as they fell 12-5.

RIVERSIDE, Calif. - No. 14 Fresno Pacific (32-13) opened their 2010 GSAC tournament with a win over The Master’s College (25-24). The Master’s scored first in the second inning, but the Sunbirds held them scoreless for the remainder of the game as they scored four runs to win 4-1.
